I founded Asari.io to continue to delight our customers and candidates.
I am an international talent expert with over 18 years of experience partnering with tech companies, including Box, Okta, Collibra and Acquia in scaling European teams. I also advise customers on talent strategy, interview and selection process, and the candidate experience and coach candidates on career and interview tactics. I treat my candidates as I treat my customers – with a respectful and consultative approach.
Growing up in the Soviet Union and coming to the UK at age 16 without speaking English gave me a unique perspective on what it takes to succeed in a different country and culture.
I am an avid reader of business and wellness books; plus classic and modern literature. Little known fact: I am a WWII Soviet history geek. My other big passion is metabolic and brain health via holistic wellness lifestyle (meditation, exercise, gluten-free diet, sun, nature, cold showers).
Hi, I’m Karrin. I’ve held international HR leadership roles in Silicon Valley and Europe with high growth companies – Silicon Graphics, TiVo and Nvidia.
In 2012 I teamed up with Jules to work with technology start-ups landing and/or expanding in Europe, building out first-on-the-ground teams and setting up HR infrastructure. Now based in California, I work with our clients to hire senior, U.S. based G&A roles. I also provide consulting to the People function and career strategy consulting to individuals.
I have a Masters’ Degree in Organizational Development from University of San Francisco. I’m a court appointed special advocate for children (CASA) and Humane Society volunteer. Interests include food, wine, travel, and yoga.
I am an HR Executive at Andreeseen Horowitz (a16z) – a venture capital firm. I am a values driven leader having spent the last 20 years building best in class people operations and talent management programs for different companies across the technology and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, I was a Head of People at Emerson Collective and before that a Head of HR at D2iQ, a leading cloud native automation provider; prior to that, I was the first VP of People Operations at Quizlet, and the first Head of People Operations and Success at Okta. Earlier in my career, I was an HR Manager at Community Gatepath, a nonprofit serving people with special needs and developmental disabilities in the greater San Francisco Bay.

I am a VP Marketing at FARFETCH (Platform Solutions) and previously a CMO at Cutover, the leader in Work Orchestration and Observability. Over more than 17 years in the enterprise tech industry I created and executed best-in-class marketing strategies for market leaders (IBM, Hewlett Packard, Vodafone), IPO scale-ups (Box, Alteryx) and start-ups (Cutover, Topia) alike.

I was part of an amazing team that built my last company, Lithium Technologies (now Khoros), a recognized Forrester and Gartner leader, to $100MM revenue before it was acquired by Vista Equity Partners. I am back living in SF and currently a Senior Director of Product Marketing at Coupa Software.
As a German Filipina and multilingual dual national (EU / US), I had to build cultural bridges from an early age. The relentless pursuit of excellence does not end at work. I am co-founder, driver and mechanic of Bodge Engineering Racing, a team that builds and races award-winning race cars. I have summited 30+ mountain peaks around the world, including Mt. Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp.
